Does Jetpack Have Social Media "likes" support

    I love Jetpack but I was wondering about whether it has the capability that I’m just not seeing, to place on each posting the “likes” for FB, Twitter, and GooglePlus? I was using the “social media buttons” plugin but it has gone under and is no longer usable. If Jetpack has this feature, where is it? If it’s not there, is there a plugin recommend from the Jetpack people that does the “+1” and “likes” option?

    Hi there:

    The feature we have is Sharing buttons. These buttons gives readers the tools to post your content to their networks from the bottom of each post and/or page.

    Some services have an additional option letting you display ‘Official’ buttons that show the number of times the post has been shared in real time. The Facebook official button is a like button, but the others are just sharing buttons.

    Totally understand that part as I do use the sharing options. Is there any possibility of adding more functionality to Jetpack in the near future of showing those counts, or of adding the features that show how many likes there are?

    If you use the Icon + Text or the Text Only button option, the sharing counts for each service will be displayed.

    This feature does not tally “likes” on those services – only how many times your specific post URL has been shared.
