Hi eddyferns, I would wait until your website becomes live. Then you can use the renaming feature.

For example once it goes live it will be

    r2quest.com/yourloginpage

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

In view of this is it better to enable other features as well once live?

And would it be better to install the plugin after going live?

Hi Ed, in regards to your question….

And would it be better to install the plugin after going live?

No, not necessarily. You can use the plugin now. Enable many security features but none that alters the login page name or path because that will change once you go live in accordance to your comment above.

    Hi,

After enabling ‘Rename Login Page feature’ when I try to access the wp-login url, I get my webpage with disfiguration in the middle with a message in the centre ‘Don’t panic, we’ll get through this together. Let’s explore our options here.’

Is there a better way to display this or something that can be done about this.

And with this feature enabled, does ‘Login Lockdown’ under ‘User login’ work as it suppose to?

    Thanks
    Ed

Hi Ed what security features have you enabled? Is your site live?

I only have enabled Rename login feature. My site is not live as yet.

    Thanks

Hi Ed I think we should wait until you go live to enable this Rename Login feature then we will know if there is an issue or not. I strong doubt that you will have a problem.

    Regards
