WP-MEMBERS (Not moderating registrations)

Hello,

I have been working on trying to set-up WP-Members (2.9.5) plugin on a site for a few days now, intermittently. I keep having a reoccurring problem that I have searched & searched for a possible fix for.

The new registrations are not being moderated.

HERE ARE THE STEPS I HAVE TAKEN:
I have made sure the boxes for “Notify Admin” & “Moderate Registration” are both check-marked.

I tried to remove the “password” field from the registration form…however, it stays. It is no longer listed in the “Fields” tab under the WP-Members settings, but it is still showing on the registration page itself.

I have deleted the plugin and reinstalled twice, once through WordPress & once through my FTP.

Any ideas?
