Wrong Timezone issue

    I’m facing a problem now where all the posts generated by AutoPost are wrong in terms of posting time. Even though I have made correct timezone settings (Asia/Kuala_Lumpur) in the WordPress system (by changing wpsettings.php and Multi-Importer’s AutoPost settings), the posts are still showing up the wrong time and lead to wrong scheduled posting time.
    I tried creating a new post in WordPress and the posting time was correct. That means the WordPress settings are correct. In other words, the timezone issue seems to only happen on the plugin’s AutoPost function.

    I changed the timezone in php.ini too, but to no avail.

    #UPDATE
    I changed date_default_timezone_set in wp_settings.php back to UTC. The error part as I previously mentioned is now correct, but the schedule time is still incorrect.

    There seems to be some discrepancies between the published time stated in the plugin and scheduled posting time in “Posts” (see the red boxes in the snapshots below).

    After I re-installed the plugin, the problem seems to have been solved, but it comes with another problem. I will open another topic about that.

    Same thing happen to me – but I don’t use autoPost.

    All my post that I scheduled today did not work; there is problem with wordpress timezone now – Please fix.

    @ctltvoz if the problem is with WordPress’s time (in their admin) that that is a wordpress problem that you need to solve, it’s not a plugin problem since the plugin gets the timezone from your wordpress settings.
