This is the site I had so much trouble with when I was adding links and images re Eric Holders pre-DOJ connection to Wells Fargo and other Big Banks, which appears to explain why the DOJ doesn’t prosecute bank fraud used against homeowners in order to foreclose.

Okay… so I checked and my widgets don’t call for strong or italics. How can I get my sidebar back to normal?

  • Hi, Karen:

It looks like the only widget which has the bold italic is the very top one, a text widget which says, “Let’s transcend the news.”

When I examine the code in the text widget, I see this:

    <p style="text-align: left; padding-left: 6px;" align="right"><em><strong><a href="https://www.looking-good.org/angel-day-5/">Let's transcend the news ~ </a></strong></em></p>

The < em > tag, for emphasis, is the tag which is setting the font style to italics. The < strong > tag is what is setting the font weight to bold. So to set the text to normal, remove both of those tags from the content of the text widget.

I got a bit overwhelmed and didn’t get back to this.

On my computer all of the sidebar items have bold.

For instance, Worth a Read is all in bold, though the widget doesn’t contain a direction to make the page names bold.

OH WOW… I took out the “strong” in the top one and all of them ceased being strong.

    Thank you!!!!!
