Default location is not accurate
-
The initial location seems to come from the IP address or the ISP office or something. It is in the same city but not close enough to the users actual location to be useful. This is ok on desktop computers as there is no better option however it is not suitable on mobile devices. When on a mobile device the initial location should come from the GPS / phone location location data and not the ISP.
For example on my phone it is centering the map and showing the distances from a point about 10km away from where I am actually located. Unfortunately this is not particularly useful when trying to find a local store eg. a restaurant close by.
Is this possible to rectify? What setting do I need to change?
Thanks,
Nicole
