Install halts 1/2 way through 2nd step

  • I’m using PHP 5.2.1 and MySQL 5.0.33 on CentOS. It always gets 1/2 way through the install, (actually probably finishes, however doen’t send me the info and doesn’t tell me my password.

    It did this as well with wordpress 2.0 but I was able to comment out the wp_mail line in the install and it completed. I can overwrite my pass manually in the db and I’m able to log in and everything is fine… So I imagine its in the mail function somehow. My Error Log shows nothing.
