When having 6 % & and 25 % tax rules, the shipping gets the 6 %

    Hi!

    I have made a 6 % tax rule for books. All other products have the 25 % tax rule. Now when I test to put some postcards in the shopping card, they get 25 % as they should. But the shipping gets 6 % tax. (I haven’t put any book in the shopping card). I have searched a little for a solution but haven’t seen any. Would be very happy for help.

    Hi again!

    I could solve it with not using the 6 % tax f?r the shipping and only choose to use the 25 % tax rule for shipping. Then the shipping always gets 25 %, but books get 6 %. Correct is to set the shipping tax at 6 % when shipping books I have read, but at the same time, I have to pay the same price for bying the shipping service so I guess it maybe could be okay to put 25 % for the shipping of books. At least as long as you’re still a very small business.

    Hello @jkberger,

    This is a UI flaw – you should select only single tax for shipping purposes. Currently it is not possible to add different tax rates for different shipping methods, we will add it in 2.x series.

    When multiple tax rates are selected for shipping the system uses latest (in the means of time) tax rule. Unfortunately it is not fixable until 2.x series.
