Allow comments on select PAGES

    How can I allow comments on the pages that I want them on only? I tried WordPress’ “Allow Comments” tick box, but no comment box appears on the page. Thank you.

  • As long as you haven’t switched them off globally, you should be able to set them on for individual pages by:
    – Editing a page,
    – Clicking “screen options”
    – Checking the “Discussion” check box
    – Checking “Allow comments” in the discussion panel.

    ElectricFeet, I tried that, but the page has no comment box or any coment ability. Any advice?

    What are your options in:
    – Appearance -> Customize -> Comments; and
    – Dashboard > Settings > Discussion?
