    Hi,

Thanks for using my plugin and I apologize for the trouble. It’s very bizarre because the sorting and filtering is working on my demo site: https://demo.arconixpc.com/faq-test/

Just for grins and giggles, can you let me know what happens if you use the following shortocde?

    [faq skip_group="true"]

Thanks for the quick reply. I replaced the shortcode with the one you provided, and the page renders exactly as it did before.

At this point there’s not much more troubleshooting I can do from outside your install. If you’d be willing, I’d like to log in to your WordPress admin and see if I can figure out what’s going on. If that’s OK, could you create an admin user with the e-mail john [at] arconixpc.com?

That would be very helpful, thanks. ?? Should be in your email.

I’m totally stumped. I’ve never run into a situation where the parameters aren’t being processed.

I didn’t want to mess around too much because it appears to be a live e-commerce site, but have you tried disabling all the other plugins and then switching to the TwentyTwelve theme to see if the issue persists? If it’s fixed after doing that, first switch on the theme, then check the FAQ page, then turn on each of the plugins one at a time, checking the FAQ page after each one to see if we can figure out where the problem is. My guess is there’s some kind of conflict somewhere, but I couldn’t really tell.

Yes, I turned off all of the other plugins and switched to one of the default themes. This site isn’t technically launched yet, and we’ll be using another domain when it is, so we can do some tinkering.

I’ve eliminated my FAQ plugin as the source of the trouble… I installed another one of my plugins (arconix shortcodes, to be exact) and tried that without any additional success. I also tried adding a couple WooCommerce shortcodes as well and didn’t get anywhere.

At this point I have nothing. I know the issue isn’t with my plugins or WooCommerce. What I don’t know is what’s causing the WordPress to ignore the parameters. Unfortunately I don’t even know where to suggest looking. Perhaps copying over the source files again for WordPress?

Thanks, John. I’ll try that and let you know what happens.
