Need advice! choosing a template for a Car dealer websiste

  • Hi everyone,

    The title says it all, I’m looking for a good template (free, if possible) to create a car dealer website. I tried Weaver II, carzine and Church, but it seems it lacks some aspects I need.

    The most important thing I need is the ability to create vehicule specs sheet (texte field + slideshow for each vehicule, at least) and display them properly on the homepage…

    (and yes, I’ve search google and looke on this forum, but didn’t find a recent answer:) )

  • Looking for a template can be cumbersome… going thru all the different layouts and features. But no one can really know what you need/want other than you.

    If you’ve searched google, I’d suggest changing up your query a bit, maybe viewing the results in “images”, or checking the themes here again.

    There are several commercial wordpress themes out there, too. Most are under $50. Many developers will charge (at least) that much for one hour of customization, so in that regard they are pretty cheap.

    Your current skills with html/css/php will also be a factor. Make sure wherever you get your template that there is good documentation and support. Read their reviews.

    Thanks for the tip, Janet ?? Never thought of looking in google images for such requests…

    I think I found one which seems adapted to my needs: opendoor theme from Themeforest. I’ve tried other one, but they were (very) buggy.

    And as you said: about 50$ for a theme I can now personnalize with some homemade CSS is a very good price ??
