unable to upgrade/delete media file manager

  • I am using Media File Manager Version 1.1.0 and WP version 3.9.2

    I am trying to upgrade MFM to the latest version as the current version is unusable and crashes wordpress when I try to use it.

    When I try and update it cannot remove the old plugin and so the plugin update fails.

    I have tried deleting through FTP and am unable to… So cannot update the files, cannot delete any images and cannot manage any folders.

    Please advise soonest.

  • Atsushi, I installed your plugin version 1.2.1 from my add new Plugins in WordPress. I thought this was exactly what I needed and it looks good. However, when I try to move over 5 media files to the folders, the whole thing crashes and I have to restart WordPress. I am thinking I should uninstall it and look for another plug that does the same thing but I have not found one. Based on some of the comments, I am afraid to uninstall it, thinking it will mess up all my files. Cool Video Gallery by Pravewen Rajan does not see to work with it, because I can’t find the files. DO YOU PLAN TO upgrade it to the WorkPress Version 3.9.2.

    It’s been too many days since I added this note and have not heard from the producer of this plugin. It was a great idea but it is definitely not working.
