    Hello WordPress Admins / Developers,

    I have recently upgraded (and installed a fresh) to WP 2.1 via Fantastico but now I couldn’t delete posts or create new categories. I am encountering an error “You dont have permission to do that” I tried clearing all cookies, cache, I am the administrator of the site but to no success. I think this issue was prevalent in version 2.0.3. Is there by any chance that when the wordpress codes were modified in version 2.1, you have brought back this issue again? Any help from you on how to resolve this problem is greatly appreciated.

    hello,

    any inputs? I believe the problem is with the ajax javascript or prototype javascript because when I disable the javascript from my firefox, I can now create a new category (havent tried deleting posts when javascript is disabled). How come is that? We all know that I cannot just disable javascript because wordpress are using it in some of the files.

    I hope to get help from anyone of you here. thanks.
