multi-site blogs from root, while the install is in a subfolder

Hi All,

I asked this around a year/18 months ago, but possibly wasn’t too clear on what I am trying to achieve.

Anyway, I’m interested in setting up a multi-site install without a blog a root level. My intended site structure is as follows.

The reason for this is that at the root of the group-site and the division-sites there is a non wordpress site.

https://www.group-site.com/blog/

https://www.group-site.com/division-site-one/blog/

https://www.group-site.com/division-site-two/blog/

https://www.group-site.com/division-site-three/blog/

And so on….

So my group sites blog is hosted within its on blog folder, and my nested divisional sites have their blogs in their own folders.

Is this possible?

I have seen a few tutorials on domain mapping, but I don’t think that will help with the issue I’m trying to solve.
