• I want to clone a website that I really like then later change the content and pictures. I research the website I purchased the theme that it was built with and now want to clone the specific attributes like the content, posts/pages, sitemap and settings selected from the theme. Another note: I don’t have access to the first website. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Why would you want to clone another site’s content and pictures?

You do realize you’re not supposed to do this, right?

Do your best to mimic the look and feel and use your own content and images out of the gate.

Contact your purchased theme’s website for support and guidance.

Like I said, I like the way things are layed out, which is different from the demo version of the theme. What I am building will have nothing to do with website that I like, all content and pictures will be replaced. The original is a juice website and Im doing a car wash website. No intent to steal content and I have purchased the theme.

You just have to look at the layout and recreate it based on what you see.

They have probably customized the theme if it doesn’t look like the demo, so you will have to do the same thing.

How familiar are you with html and css?

Maybe ask your theme developer how to accomplish a look similar to that site.
