Display Custom Post type category titels

  • I have a CPT called portfolio, and three categories. In all categories i have items with the same name and same thumb. When i search, i want to search only those categories and i want the output to show those three items with the category rite for each item.

    I also has tags for items in those categories, is it possible to search the tags in my CPT, and output the tagname, with the categories titel and thumb it comes from?

    Is this possible with the proversion?

    If not, what would it take to customize this?

    Ok so the tag thing works great. However, i can’t get the custom post type categories to display correctly, it display the titel of the post, but since i have duplicates of all my posts in different categories its no way to see which one is what. Would it be possible to show the category name of each item?
