Changing the default colour

    I am working on the Vantage theme and everything is working well but i’d like to change the default black background on the navigation link bar (home, about us etc) and also the highlight colour.

    I cannot however find the file which will let me do this.

    Does anyone know where i can find the exact .css file that i need, i have looked at bar amongst other things but it does not seem to change the colour.

    Also is there a way i can change the size of the website. The slider image is quite large and i was wondering if i could reduce it in size?

    I haven’t launched the website and i am working locally so i cannot give a link to the website

  • Without seeing your website it’s really not possible to tell you exactly what CSS elements you should edit. Because, everyone usage their own CSS Class, ID etc.

    And in WordPress there is a default CSS file that you can find by go to Appearance=>Edit Themes and in your right hand side bottom you will see Stylesheet style.css file

    I have kept the homepage as it was, from the slider to the navigation bar etc.

    I was wondering if i could make the slide image height shorter and extend the height of the space above the navigation bar

    That is pretty much how it looks like now with my website.

    I want to make the top banner longer in height and reduce the height of the slider image banner. I saw it on a few other websites but i am not sure how to do it
