• Hi!

So I set up an account with wordpress then I downloaded and used MAMP for my local server. When I locally installed it on my computer I used the SAME log in credentials I used before when making a wordoress to create a “new” site. I edited it and spent a lot of time publishing it.

Well this morning, I tried to log on and nothing I was working on last night is showing up. When I try to go to the local host admin log in it say forbidden and takes me back to the word press log in using my credentials. When I go to where my site used to be on the localhost it shows all of my posts etc. but not in the right format as if to say it has nothing to host it.

I’ve tried reinstalling it but it still doesnt save my previous information. Is there a way to upload the SQL file of my backup database from MAMP to my site so it has all of my posts etc. When I try to import my SQL file it doesnt give me the option, just to import from a blogger, wordpress, etc. file. How can I import the SQL taken from MAMP to hopefully save everything I worked on in to wordpress to get my local host site back up and running?
