• Having read the previous posts regarding this topic and carried out the suggested solutions I am no better off and the problem still exists. The error only appears after I try to install any new or reactivate any existing plugins after updating to WP 3.9.2. I am totally frustrated after many hours of trying to overcome this and any easy to follow suggestions would be very welcome.

  • Sounds like you have some plugins that are not compatible with 3.9.2. You’ll need to isolate which one are causing the problem and then write to the plugin author.

Thanks for the advice, all the plugins have been deactivated and to my frustration the problem still exists. I have reinstalled 3.9.2 after deactivating the plugins and now the error reads wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121

    Thanks

I’m going to open up my own thread as well, but just joining in to second that this issue is also occuring for me with 3.9.2. I’ve got the white screen of death on all admin pages.

I went through and deleted empty spaces before opening and closing php tags as advised in general, but they keep coming back every time i look at the files again.
