Hi, I’m using WP Email Capture for long in my website. I never tested or checked it occasionally. What happened is, today when I see, there are 353 confirmed users vs 2124 unconfirmed users.

There were some problems like mail not delivering. There was no notification too about the problem.

Now I need the email addresses of 2124 unconfirmed subscribers as it’s not my mistake, but WP Email Capture’s. How can I do this?

    Hi there,

You are unable to access these email addresses. Sorry. The problem I think you were having would be your potential signups going into Spam – either with your domain or your host making your emails recognised as spam.

This problem lies at hosting level, rather than the plugin level.

Hi Rhys, thanks for getting by. That’s harsh, atleast there should have been an information when unconfirmation email ratio is getting higher. So, what could be the solution now?

Well it’s tricky, because it can be that high. I’ve seen sites like that.

Remember unconfirmed email addresses could be anything. Most the time they are usually spammers filling in any form, which prevents you from adding them to your list – which is great in a way as your list is more targeted.

I’m having the same issue Rhys. Whilst I appreciate it may be a hosting issue, the unconfirmed I have are already there and resolving the hosting issue will only affect new subscribers.

Isn’t there a file or some way of retrieving these? Surely the plugin is logging these somewhere since if one of those on that list did find their confirmation email, they’d still be able to be ‘confirmed’.

    Hi,

There is no way of seeing these, with good reason.

It is illegal to auto-confirm email addresses, and the temptation is too great, hence why they are hidden from prying eyes. Sorry, but please test my plugin with signups before putting it on live sites.
