When I try to use the merge tags in MailChimp to pull in the events RSS feed it does not work. I get the error message “No RSS Feed Found”. I have confirmed that it is not a MailChimp issue or a syntax issue by testing out other RSS feeds using the same merge tags with no issue. I have also tested RSS feeds from multiple events calendars on different WordPress sites I manage (with completely different URLs) that also use Events Manager plugin and those do not work either. This worked in the past, very well in fact. But today I noticed that it is no longer pulling in the RSS feed to MailChimp campaigns. How can this be resolved?

I wanted to update my own ticket to let everyone know that I resolved the issue. It was not an Events Manager issue or a MailChimp issue. It was an issue with the recurring events. I was setting them to have extremely far future end dates on the recurring event cycle. I didn’t want to run out of dates in the recurring events any time soon. This resulted in hundreds of dates being created. When the RSS feed was trying to load in the browser and in MailChimp it was taking extremely long to aggregate and the servers timed out.

So I went into Events > Settings > Formatting > RSS and under RSS Limit I set it to 30 and under RSS Scope I set it to Future Events.

That fixed the issue with the server timing out. The feed validated with MailChimp and all is right in the world.

    Hi,

Can you tell me how you did it? What does your feed look like?
Apart from what you said about de RSS limit, are there other things I should take care of?

I hope you can help me..
