    Hello,

When you install Hueman Theme, this theme recomments install Regenerate Thumbnails plugin, especially if you’re changing Theme. But if you visits author page you can read this message:

Hi there. May I suggest using Jetpack’s Photon module instead of this plugin? Photon will use WordPress.com’s servers to generate thumbnail images for you on-demand in whatever size is needed. This means that you don’t need to use my plugin to generate new thumbnail images when you switch themes, change thumbnail sizes, or anything else!

Don’t want to use Jetpack? That’s okay too. My plugin still works just fine.

I’m changing Theme from Apprise to Hueman and I’ve Jetpack Plugin installed.

So, did you install Regenerate Thumbnails plugin in yours instalations?

    What would you do?

    Thank you

  • If you already have Jetpack, I would suggest sticking to it (with Photon feature on) and see if your thumbnails are behaving normally. Then if you notice anything weird, install Regenerate Thumbnails to fix it.

I have used both, at different times of course, and for me it seems that my site loads faster when using Photon by Jetpack. I would follow the suggestion given by the regen plugins author and use Jetpack.

    Thank you guys.

For the moment I only will install Jetpack with Photon activated.

    Best regards
