White space after removing H1 entry title on pages

how did you remove the h1 entry title?

/*Remove h1 title on pages only*/
.page h1.entry-title {
   display: none;
}

That code removes both the space and content of the h1 title. You can try removing padding from the header like this:

.site-header {
padding: 24px 0 0;
padding: 1.714285714rem 0 0;
}

Instead of this:

.page h1.entry-title {
   display: none;
}

Try this:

.page .entry-header {
    display: none;
}

Oh dear, I too want to remove the entry title (not the navigational title) on all pages but I am not sure where to enter this code as listed by Andrew.

Is is under Themes/Editor/Appearance?
