• I believe I found a bug in WordPress 2.1 (release).

    For an internet radio station, we make our homepage with WordPress as a simple and powerful CMS. This homepage is filled by different people from the team.

    Most of us do not use the WYSIWYG-editor, we type plain HTML instead. And often, one of us types a piece of text and sets <!– HTML-comments –> around it, to leave it for someone else to complete.

    With WordPress 2.1, this does not work as expected, if the commented sections contains HTML-code. The layout of our homepage is destroyed if we do so.

    A look in the source reveals that the end of comment –> disappears somewhere. Sometimes, it helps to close the comment twice, but I am sure that this is not a feature or a desired behaviour for a strange application…
