[Theme: Glisseo] Revolution Slider Issue

I have created a slider through Revolution Slider and am attempting to insert it into a Glisseo-based page. Glisseo only give me the option to either show my latest post or a page, and while the slider shows up on the page, when I select a static page, it removes the heading banner and removes all posts, displaying just the slider. Is there anyway to have the slider be static, while keeping the header image in tact and to show posts (chronologically) afterwards?
