Slider and drop down menu

  • Hi there,

    Don’t know how come, probably due to updates but since last week I cannot see the slider displaying anymore and the drop down list from categories does not work anymore. I can only go over the category and when clicking it redirects to an empty page. Can anyone help ?

    For the drop down list, I tried one of the solution of some, creating a link with # but this does not work out.

    I can verify that I’m getting same symptoms.

    The usual problem is plugin conflict, so will have to prove that first:
    Deactivate all plugins
    Test if OK
    If OK, reactivate plugins one-by-one to find the culprit

    Looks like you only have FPU? Try deactivating it and see if problem still exists.

    Sorry, but deactivating all plug-in did not solve the problem. But thanks for the info.

    Try switching to a different Theme, eg TwentyFourteen, and see if it (the navbar) works. Then switch back to Czr.

    Thanks it works but I found that my problem was coming from the Customizr child theme ! Therefore I now miss some of the changes I made

    You need to reintroduce your change bit by bit until you find what’s causing the problem.

    For instance, take a backup of your CSS. Then delete half of it. If the problem goes away, then you know that the problem is in the half you deleted. Keep chopping and adding until you find what’s wrong.

    (If you do the same with a functions php, make sure you trim at snippet boundaries, so you don’t try to run half a function, which will fail.)

    Thanks for your feedback.

    I made a backup of the child theme. I deleted it from the server and downloaded the one from the customiser website (probably newer?). I installed it and copied again my “functions.php” file as well the CSS into it on the server. Everything works fine again, see:
