Member Activation Email Not Being Sent

s2member and buddypress new member email not being sent:
It works with all plugins disabled except Buddypress. I also tried activating all of the plugins I am using with the exception of s2member and it also worked then, but once I activate s2member the email stops sending. I then tried one last setup with just Buddypress and s2memebr active and the email did not send. So, I must have something improperly configured with s2member, I just don’t know what it is. I looked through it several times, I’m not sure what it could be. I have only dealt with the General Options and Restriction Options.
Please help.
