Comment Image Is Wrong

I am manually going through my blog that is 11 years old. It still has some extraneous html from various iterations that were used over the years.

One thing I have noticed is that some of the comments on posts have the wrong image associated with it. One commenter in particular; about half of his comments have my image beside his comment.

Looking at the comment, his name and e-mail address are identical to his other comments that do not have my image. It is not that he uploaded my image as his gravatar. His is not the only one this has happened to.

I can’t seem to find the source of this. It also doesn’t seem as though I can edit the image.

Any thoughts on how to disassociate the image with the comments? The image of me that is displaying was taken recently; these comments are nine years old.

I do not believe any of the commenters are registered users of the blog.
