Put counter icons in header

Hi, Thank you for the plugin, works perfectly.

I want to change the location of the top icons to be in the <header> rather than <article>. What’s the best way to do this?

I thought, either
1. disable top icons and place a code in the header, but don’t know what is the code to put?
2. find the code where it puts top icons in <article> and amend to put the icons in the <header>. Can you advise where to find this code?
