Preventing Email Subscriptions From Going Out?

I occasionally do some test blog postings and my readers get annoyed when I do this because it also generates out the e-mails when I do that. I am using Jetpack and I don’t know if there’s any way to prevent the e-mails from going out when I post something temporarily before I go ahead and delete it. To put it in another way. I sometimes test my FB, Twitter, and GooglePlus connections to make sure they are working and I create a test post and I’m just trying to see if I can do that without a blog post going out to my WordPress subscribers.
