When user is trying to register nothing happens

  • Hi devs ??

    I am trying to integrate s2memeber plugin with KLEO theme.

    It uses buddypress plugin which as I understand is supported by the s2member.

    When I press the register button I am directed to registration form page as intended.

    However there are 2 serious issues:

    1) When selecting one of the categories to register as the custom registration fields don’t appear as intended. E.g. Selecting category 1 or 0 no new appropriate sections with required fill in fields appear.

    2) After filling in whatever appears and possible, nothing happens when I press the register/sign up button. Page refreshes keeping part of the details yet it is still the page with registration form and the user account hasn’t been created.

    Yes, I have switched on full integration with buddypress in the options.

    P.S. Developing in localhost environment.

    P.P.S I should also mention that I intend for all memberships to be free yet with restrictions applying to each level separately.

  • I upgraded to WordPress 3.9.2 last night and today when a users tries to register they receive a “Registration has been disabled.” message.

    @king_dev Doesn’t that theme have its own login system? That might be creating a conflict. Try using the default theme and see what happens then.

    Just tried different basic themes for comparison. Still doesn’t work as expected.

    Moreover as far as I understand their login system is built on buddypress which s2member has potential to fully integrate with
