    Hello,

Your plugin is so simple to use and is the one that comes the closest to what I need.

But do you think it is possible to make your plugin work in a marketplace type of environment? To be more specific, I use WooThemes’ Product Vendors extension and like that I added marketplace functionality on top of WooCommerce and now I have vendors able to manage their own products.

Now I need to add a Booking System so that each vendor can have a calendar with his own settings. So a booking form/calendar for each vendor. And vendors should only access their own bookings and be unable to see or set other vendors booking form settings.

Right now there is only one booking form. It can only be set by the admin. Vendors have no access to any settings, but they can see the booking list.

    Thank you,
    Ana

  • Hi Ana,

No, this plugin will not work in a multi-vendor environment. It would take a decent amount of development work to rig it up as you describe, I’d think.

Thank you so much for the reply!

I was wondering if you would be interested in customizing Restaurant Reservations to make it work with Product Vendors for a fee?

I haven’t worked with WooCommerce before, so such an integration would probably cost quite a bit. I’d be willing to discuss it further with you, but have you considered the WooCommerce Bookings extension?

It may already integrate with their Product Vendors plugin. And if it doesn’t, they’d probably know some freelancers experienced with both plugins who could perform an integration much more quickly (and cheaply) than having me try to fit this plugin into the WooCommerce system.

I see…thank you for your honest opinion about this!

I know about WooCommerce Bookings and is indeed already compatible with Product Vendors, but it seems it would require customers to go to the checkout each time they make a booking.

But I want something much more simple, I don’t want to charge anything for making a reservation, I only want my vendors to be able to set the days and the hours when they want to accept bookings (and the maximum number of seats per hour) and for the customers (only the logged in customers)to be able to make a reservation to the vendor of their choice and choose from the available time slots.

When a customer makes a reservation, only this should happen:
    – the reservation is added to the vendor’s list of bookings (each vendor should have his own list of bookings)
    – an email should be sent to the vendor and another one to the customer.

But if this is not possible or it would be too expensive (as there are also some budget restrictions), well…I would need to find another solution.

    Thank you again,
    Ana

I can’t say with certainty, but I’d guess that this is a customization which wouldn’t be too involved for someone experienced with the WooCommerce Bookings plugin. I’d definitely recommend you outline your needs to WooThemes and ask them if they can recommend a freelancer. It might fit your budget. You never know!

Wow, you were so quick to reply! Thank you so much! I’ll try what you suggest.

    Have a great week-end!
