Comment show on Dashboard "At a Glance" but none found in Comments

I’m also having the same problem with a recently built site. I’m seeing a constant increase in comments in the Dashboard (at a glance), but when I go into comments it displays none??

Same issue I have too. Can someone help please?

Well, it looks like we are all having the same issue and since I did not see a way to communicate with any of you, I am not sure if you all found the reason why.
Did you see my member photo icon, well, that does not look like me, I kind of look a bit more human.
So, has anyone landed the reason why this is happening? Please post, I am at 35 comments and rising. Thanks.

Ziltran, I figured these are comments that woocommerce posts automatically as notes on the orders placed by customers. E.g. inventory reduced, etc.

I tested deleting an order and the comments on dashboard were decreased by exact number of notes on that particular order.

The dashboard doesn’t show comments anymore after upgrading to wordpress 4.0, though.

If that is what is happening, it is an odd way of wordpress to behave. If it is a combination of different things and one does not know what it is, CRAZZZY.

Anyway, thanks again, on your last sentence, you say that wordpress 4.0 no longer shows comments ? I have 4.0 and that is where I am seeing the numbers rise, oh well, Thanks again.
