Newsletter and blog post updates

  • Hi guys,

    I am currently an aweber user however looking for an alternative. Have installed this and am playing around, all seems good.

    I want to give my users an option to subscribe to either 1. blog post updates or 2. monthly newsletter (or both). Is this possible with sendpress? and how would I go about doing this? Some people want to be notified every time a new post is posted, however some people might prefer a monthly wrap up / broadcast email.

    The way our post notifications feature works in the pro version is that you can set a default subscription (for example daily) at sign up but the user can manage their subscription and switch that to be instant or weekly. We don’t currently have a monthly option although we could add it in the future.

    Post notifications currently only allows for new sign-ups. We don’t have a bulk import for post notifications subscribers, but otherwise it should be able to handle small to medium-size notification list.
