Age groups not flexible

  • Please consider removing or enable to bypass the checks on age group creation.

    I have these groups
    5-99 (basically all ages)
    5-14 (would not be allowed as this range is already included in 5-99)
    55-65 (would not be allowed as this range is already included in 5-99)

    But this is how i want to set them up

    Tulesi, can you describe how you would like them to work if it was an option and describe the ‘business case’ for doing so?

    I think I can see the value of having overlapping age groups for different classes, such as one set of events may have one class set and others may have another class set. Is there another?

    I was thinking what would be useful is taking classes beyond age alone and have a class group with properties such as gender, age, and course as many sports have different courses for different classes and have the class labeled as like Youth, Sport, Advanced, Expert or something like that and allow similar names across different sports types (i.e. Road Biking vs. Mountain Biking).
