Review button is not showing!

That is definitely strange. No, there is no code you should need to add. No, there is currently no option for text rather than a button in post meta.

When editing a post, do you see the suggest review meta box at all?

I do yes, when editing posts, top right corner has this box

Resolve suggested review box
This post has not been suggested for review.

Exclude from suggest review Yes No

and of course the post is not excluded!

the button however is not showing in front end ??
whats the code for the button, can i not re-add it manually to post meta

I’d like to figure out what’s going on here. Can you provide a list of what plugins you have enabled, what theme you have, and what wp version?

These are all the plugins i have and are all active on WP 3.9.1, using knowhow paid theme

i have tried deactivating all plugins, the front end suggest review button still did not show up!

Last question before I say let’s do a remote assist: you aren’t seeing it on an actual post type of ‘post’? I can’t say I tested with any custom post types or anything, though I do seem to recall it works okay on the ‘page’ type.

What theme are you using? I would try one of the defaults like Twenty Ten

Pushed new version to fix issue. Problem was a hard-coded check for https, so if you used http, you were out of luck. Closing this thread, though there will be another new version soon to address some suggestions from WPHaider.
