Publicize posting to facebook twice

  • Hi,

    It seems like Publicize is posting to Facebook twice. I created a blog post last night and it went through fine, but exactly an hour later it was reposted to my FB! I didn’t edit it or anything.

    I checked the connections and Jetpack is the only app with permission to post.

    Anyone else having this problem? What can I do about it?

  • I am having the same problem with one of my websites as well.

    I use Publicize on Jetpack for multiple websites, and it is only affecting one. The plugin is up-to-date, I have refreshed the connections, deactivated and reactivated it and continue to have the issue.

    I do want to note though that the website that is presenting the double posting problem, the posts are scheduled ahead of time. When I publish immediately it posts once to Facebook.

    Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

    This is happening to me too.
    I’ve hooked up Publicize with Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, but Facebook shows duplicate posts everytime I post a single.

    Any solutions?

    The only solution I’ve found is to not use Jetpack publicize. :p
