    Have I understood it correctly that .php files should always be uploaded in ASCII or text format, while images should be uploaded in binary?

  • That’s correct.
    Most FTP clients can be set to “recognize” automatically the filetype, so you don’t have to worry about it.

    After a little bit of searching I found the auto-mode in my FPT client… works like a charm now ??
