Custom Links/Shortened URLs

  • I cannot find a working plugin to do what I want.
    I want to make mydomain.com/shop to give clients a better link than mydomain.com/product=typewhatever I can change it in woocommerce but then the cart stops working, so I figured just getting a link to redirect to the default would be easier-but maybe not.
    I’ve tried Pretty Links and one other link plugin but they both issue 404 page not found to Hostgator.

  • Redirection is a WordPress plugin to manage 301 redirections and keep track of 404 errors without requiring knowledge of Apache .htaccess files.
    So use Redirection Plugin .
