How do I get rid of "leave a comment" block?

    On the right hand side of my home page there is a space for “Leave a comment”. I don’t know how it got there. it also says “logged in as MyName and has a Captcha question. How do I get this out of the way?

    Below are steps for removing comment option from your home pages
    1. go to admin panel
    2. go to edit home page
    3. on top of page there is “screen options” button available, click on that then one popup box will toggel
    in that check discussion and comment option in that box.

    4. now you will have discussion panel below your page editor from that uncheck 1.allow comment and 2. discussion option.

    5. update your page thats it. done
