    Hi,

Here are answers for your queries:

    1. Do you want alphabets in Arabic/Persian or your posts names are also in Arabic/Persian? Alphabets can be translated to any languages. Can you please mention your website here so i look into the posts titles?

    2. It works with all custom post types when they are inside some taxonomies.

    3. Are you talking about multiple places on the same page or on different pages? If you are talking about different pages (e.g. on a few categories) then this feature is already included in it.

    Thanks,
    Fahad

Thanks. The website is not built yet. I am looking for plugins that I can use when I begin building it.

    1. Yes, the site is going to be in Persian. So if the website is in Persian the plugin can sort the posts based on Persian order of the alphabet?

    2. That’s what I need.

    3. I am talking about displaying different types of custom post types in different pages. It seems it works for me.

    Hi,

In fact i want to know that will alphabets be translated in Persian or not? If yes, it means that posts titles will be in Persian too? I am not sure that mysql (WordPress search query) will manage it, can you please send me a few entries of posts titles so i try it at my end and help you better?

    Thanks,
    Fahad

    Here is a sample website:
    https://alefba.us/behdaar/?cat=1
I added Persian and Persian alphabet to “languages.php”.

In the website I have posts for the letters ? , ? , ?, ? , and ? . When one clicks on the letter the posts beginning with that letter show up. But when I am in the category page the posts are not sorted alphabetically even though I have implementation set to “auto”. (by the way implementation is spelled “implentation” in the setting page.)

One more question: why do we have a “#” sign at the beginning of the alphabet bar?

    Hi,

Yes, its working with Persian letters too, i have checked it. For sorting ASC or DESC it will expect that these are either alphabets or with numeric order (mysql understand these two things). I will surely correct the spelling of implementation in settings page. “#” sign is available for those posts which starts with numbers. You can hide it with CSS class if don’t to display. One more thing i think you should have on your website is, rtl (right to left) for your alphabets so it will give a good look. Do you want me to add this Persian/Arabic language array in next build? If so, you can send me this updated file.

    Thanks,
    Fahad
