'Private' photos still shown in profile – not private

  • Changing the privacy settings with this plugin only seems to affect how the content is displayed in a user’s activity stream or profile.

    However, if the content is available elsewhere, say, in the case of a photo upload, a member’s photo album (member’s profile > view photos), then the content can still be seen.

    Please fix this to work with photo albums. It is disconcerting for people to be uploading a picture that they think is private…only to find out it can easily be seen by anyone that has access to their photo album.

    Alternatively, maybe the privacy option should be hidden when a user is uploading a photo. That way, there would be no ambiguity as to whether the photo can be seen by others.
