Sort and filter options disappeared from table

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this is not your changes but a JavaScript error that is happening in the /wp-content/themes/Divi/js/custom.js file. There, in line 1666, the call

et_fix_video_wmode('.fluid-width-video-wrapper');

raises a JS error. Due to that, the browser will stop the execution of all the remaining JS on the page, including the sorting and filtering.

You will either need to fix this issue in the theme with the help of theme developer, or comment that line out.

I am having the same problem, but I do not have a custom.js file that I can find. I was able to sort the table just fine until I changed the column widths, and now it doesn’t matter if sort or pagination is on “true” or “false,” neither seems to be enabled.

The table on that page was not created with TablePress, but with another plugin (maybe Ultimate Tables?). You’d therefore have to ask in their forums about this.

Hi Tobias, I just realised I never updated you.

There was a problem with the Divi theme (created by Elegant Themes); they provided a fix and it’s all working now.

I’ve been using WordPress/plugins for years, your TablePress is my top favourite of ALL times – it rocks (and so does your support)
