Error on first login

The basic free version of the plugin is designed for easy login to existing accounts only, so in fact the behavior you see is expected.

You would need to first create the account in WordPress, and then “Login with Google” should work fine.

The premium version available at https://wp-glogin.com/ saves you admin time and makes your site easily accessible for your Google Apps users by auto-creating WordPress accounts if they don’t already exist when they first try to ‘Login with Google’.
