Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference

    I just came home and my blog is gone. I only see this:

    Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home/content/81/8845681/html/wp-content/plugins/instapress/instagram.php on line 306

    I can’t get into my admin, and I am in Filezilla but this is where my tech is done…no clue where to go from here. Ideas???

    Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    I was able to go in and delete the plugin in there. I wasn’t even using that one, so I am shocked it did that!
