  • Does it not show the password field at all underneath the username? Or does it show the title (Password:) and then no password following?

    hello

i have same issue , user is receiving the normal welcome email and nothing regarding the temp password or needs admin activation ,

if admin by luck check the admin menu he can find out some one is waiting for approval ( even no email to admin for pending approval )

when admin approve the user after that user is receiving the temp pass and also admin receiving email about user approval

i hope this can be fixed your plugin is what i want ?? for many month

    thank you

    Hello

i just update the plugin but all issues i mentioned above still there

do i need to do some changes some where ?

thank you for you great support

@itt It doesn’t sound like you are having the same issue (no password in the email to the user). Your issue sounds totatlly different. It wasn’t fixed in the new release (1.6) because it was not addressed in this release.

I have, however, heard of your issue with email and would love to resolve it with your help. Do you mind filling out the form at https://newuserapprove.com/problems-sending-emails/? I’ll use that information to help you figure out the issue you are having.

    HI Dear

what i seen in new update per your site info :

WordPress registration process with New User Approve plugin activated:
    1. User registers for access to site.
    2. User is shown message to wait for approval.
    3. Admin is notified of new user signup via email.
    4. Admin goes to admin to approve or deny new user.
    5. Email is sent to user. If approved, email will include login credentials.
    6. User logs in to site using login credentials.

number 1-2 and 3 is the main issues i mentioned and after update still not happening

in new update something else bothering ??
before if i approve user it go direct to all user approved list ( in user admin page )
but after latest update when i approve user in your plugin i have to go to admin page and approve it one more time

in user admin page is showing pending approval

very appreciate your support and i filled the form as you mentioned

    regards

Where are you approving the user the first time before you have to go to admin page to approve once more? Then which page are you going to the second time around? I appreciate you letting me know about this. I would love to help. I just need some more clarity.

    HI Dear

before update i approved in this way user>approve new user > approve new user …. and user was added to user list and done

but after update : user > approve new user >approve new user and after i have to go to user > all user > pending > approve user
    again

    this is the issue

    thank you

Interesting. I am not having that same problem. I’m curious what plugins you have installed?

Sorry my response took so long. I figured out my problem — the email just said Password:

If I go straight to the Approve New Users page and hit approve then the temporary password is sent to the user. But the way I was doing it before and how I’d prefer to do it is to edit the user first. That way I can check their credentials and make sure their display name is set correctly before approving. But if I edit the user before approving then the temporary password is blank.

So I’ve found a work around, approving, then searching for the user and editing them, but it’s not nearly as convenient.

I am not able to recreate the issue performing the exact steps above. Are there any plugins that could be interfering?

You can approve users from the same screen you edit users. Below the password fields, you will find a dropdown to set the user status. So when you modify the display name, set the status of the user as well.
