Submenu disappears sometimes when hovering

I’m sure it’s related to something in the z-index or Google font I’m using or something, but when I hover over the menu items with a submenu, the sub sometimes disappears before I can get my mouse down. After a few tries it works fine. I haven’t changed the css related to that. Any thoughts what it could be?
