Getting Layered Nav Filters to work in 2.0

  • I’m on WC 2.0 and was hoping not to upgrade right now but having a painful time getting Layered Nav to work on this version.

    I eventually got this to work on my test site, using the WC 2.1.12 after much difficulty, but it won’t work on the WC 2.0. I get the message “There are no options for this widget.” on the widget page, instead of “Active Filters” So essentially it’s showing the attributes fine, but not filtering.

    Did the upgrade to 2.1 cover these glitches? I don’t see anything in the change log. However, even on my test site with the upgraded WC 2.1 it took some doing over and over to get this to work so I don’t want to upgrade for various reasons unless I can be sure this will work.

    So weird but after trying to get this to work forever with WC2.0, I decided to upgrade to 2.1. Made a backup, and strangely — without actually upgrading — it’s now working. I didn’t change any settings, I just made a backup. Happy it’s working but confused as to why.
