Error saving media attachment

  • I cannot upload media to my blog for some reason. When using the multi uploader there’s an error message saying a temporary folder is missing. The browser uploader states a more abstract “Error saving media attachment”.

    After checking my FTP there seems to be a temp folder in place and the file system appears to be in order but since the whole web thing is, well, not quite my cup of tea I could be missing something. Also I haven’t added any content to my blog in a while so it’s hard to tell if there’s a connection to any recent WP updates.

    OK, any ideas on where to start looking for bugs?

    I would start by sharing this issue in detail with your web host.

    I am facing the same problem, on IIS7 and Windows server 2008, couldn’t get any solution till now. I have uploaded a few files previously, but it is not working
