[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Error Loading Stylesheet
-
Hello –
I have read all the previous posts about this topic, but none of them have given me any way to get around my problem. When I click on “You can find your XML Sitemap here:”, I am getting this error:
Error loading stylesheet: An unknown error has occurred (805303f4)
https://www.your-homeremedies.com/herbalremedies/main-sitemap.xslWhat is unique about this error is that I recently let my domain name, your-homeremedies.com, lapse, and I am now using the subdomain, your-homeremedies.professorsopportunities.com . Somehow, the Yoast script has resurrected the old domain name, and I can’t figure out how to stop it from doing this.
Another, possibly related, problem: I thought that I could perhaps prevent this error by deleting the plugin, and then reinstalling it by FTPing a brand-new plugin script up to the wp-content/plugins/ folder. Note: I COMPLETELY deleted the plug-in folder – and the new plugin was freshly downloaded from the plugin site – it had never “seen” my blog before. Yet, when I activated the brand-new plugin, it “REMEMBERED” ALL my previous settings!!! Shades of the Twilight Zone!
It seems as though these two problems are related. Somehow, the plugin, as evidenced by the Error above, still has my original domain name stored somewhere, and it SHOULD NOT!
Somebody please suggest a solution! I had to deactivate the WordPress SEO XML Sitemap, and use my old Google XML Sitemaps plugin, so I have something to show to Google Webmaster Tools.
